I am a translator of literary texts into English, primarily from Swedish, but also German, Danish, Norwegian, Faroese, and Icelandic. My translation projects tend to revolve around writers whose work destabilizes and defamiliarizes the world through the stretching and rending of language, and/or explores the political power of poetry and language. I am a frequent contributor to Swedish Book Review, a full member of the Swedish-English Literary Translator's Association (SELTA), Översättarcentrum, and the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA).
